Veteran's Transitional Living Program
Housed in the Dr. Maurice J. Hart building at the New Visions Omaha Campus, this program is designed to assist military veterans in regaining their independence while aiding in their recovery from trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, financial loss, relationship issues, and overcome any other barriers they may face. The 26-unit complex offers each veteran a fully functional apartment, access to on-site meal services at no charge, and support services designed to meet their unique needs.
New Visions Homeless Services partners with Veterans Affairs to provide the level of care each veteran requires and deserves. The program is the only all-veteran program of its kind in the region and is the primary point of contact for providers serving veterans who are homeless.
