Ashley struggled with substance abuse and homelessness, but when she found out she was pregnant, everything changed. Ashley found temporary housing solutions and did the hard work to get clean. But she knew she needed a fresh start, and that's when she looked to New Visions for help. Here's a glimpse of her story:

"I was referred to New Visions to try and get my life started for me and my daughter. I had been staying with other people and at other shelters, but I needed stability. At New Visions, David helped to get me a job, an apartment, and furniture. It was exactly what I needed, and now one year later, I am now about to move into a bigger apartment where my daughter can have her own room, I have a better job where I can save up for a house, and on June 29th, I was officially sober for 1 year. Thanks to David advocating for me, my life has taken a better path, and my daughter has been able to stay home with me. David DeBolt and the staff at New Visions are wonderful people and are doing a great job helping people who are willing to accept help and work hard for the life they truly want! I can't thank them enough for giving me a second chance at life and helping me and my daughter when we had nothing!"
