Helping a Woman in Need

Have you ever wondered what it looks like in real life to provide help, hope, and opportunity to those experiencing homelessness and hunger? This is our mission, and we try to live this out each day in the way we engage with our guests at New Visions. Last week, our CEO, Brandy Wallar, had the chance to visit with a woman who found herself homeless and in the midst of an abusive relationship with nowhere to turn. Because of resources provided by our generous community, our team was able to quickly get food and a bus ticket to help get our friend on a path towards a new beginning. We’re honored to be a part of stories like these as we continue to provide help, hope, and opportunity to those experiencing hunger and homelessness in Council Bluffs and Omaha.
