Volunteer Spotlight: Veteran Dresser Assembly

  • Aug 10
  • 1 min read

Our Supportive Housing program is transitioning some of our apartments to house US Veterans experiencing homelessness. This summer, a crew of dedicated volunteers helped us assemble dressers to be placed in these apartments. This was tedious work that took 120 hours of service and 30 individual volunteers to get the task accomplished. We're proud to have hosted generations of families working together, retired folks, high school kids, married couples, and individuals just wanting to give back. We couldn't have done it without this dedicated team of faithful servants who gave their time in the heat of the summer to serve others. THANK YOU!!
